Stef Claessens, originally from the Netherlands, is a Master student from the University of Algarve (Faro, Portugal). As part of his master thesis he went to the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Florianópolis, Brazil) to study if mussel meal can be used as a potential ingredient in diets of whiteleg shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei).
Stef has been working already several years in the aquaculture sector. In his spare time he likes fishing, traveling or hanging out with friends.
