Between 2019 to 2023, the AquaVitae project investigated governance of LTA in the Atlantic region, consulting stakeholders and reviewing the existing policy frameworks.
This brief summarises the key governance challenges encountered and proposes recommendations to enable the sustainable development of LTA in the Atlantic region.
Unlocking the potential of LTA requires coordinated action across state, markets and civil society, and context-specific solutions. Each
